The Via Negativa Of Increasing Computational Efficiency in Man

We all tend to think in the via-positiva. But the correct way of thinking about the universe is the removal of ignorance, error, bias, and deceit, by increasing our individual and collective computational ability by making it closer to physical, natural, and evolutionary laws.

The same via-negativa is true of populations: it is more important to cull the bottom than it is to improve the middle or top. The same is true of policy: it is better to suppress irreciprocity and falsehood than it is to make good political policy.

When we increase our computational efficiency (less error), we capture more calories (gains) from the universe (entropy). So the more negative we eliminate the more computation ALL people can exercise on the positive. Thats what SCIENCE HAS DONE.
