The weak speak as the weak do: submission is everywhere.

Regarding the quote by Max Frisch and then your version: No one is a “victim” of the universe. That is foolish thinking. The more you try to avoid being what you consider a “victim”, the more the universe will come along and make short work of your technological efforts down the pike. Ancient people understood this. There is no free lunch, nothing to “save” you or me or anyone permanently. There’s just rolling with the punches – with or without technology.
