A Race, Nation, Tribe, Clan, Family are people.

Race: a kin group having adapted to local circumstance morphologically distinguishable from other kin groups.

Tribe: a kin group within a race. Clan: an extended family within a tribe. A family: one or more generations of nuclear to extended family running a household (micro economy).

Assets: territory, resources, monuments, infrastructure, built capital, portable capital, people, their private property.

Nation: A kin group sharing institutions, language, tradition, custom, norms, commons (assets).

Country: A territory, with borders, under the control of a formal (state) or informal (people) group willing to defend those borders and that territory and the assets within it.

State: A state is a corporation governed (ruled, administered) by a monopoly that secures assets, one of which is the people, either as an asset themselves (possession) or as assets on their behalf.

Nation-State: A state serving the interests of a Nation (kin group)

State: A corporation regardless of the nation or nation, serving it’s own interests whether on behalf of kin groups or not.

Federation or Confederation: A corporation of voluntarily organized states and or nation states with right of exit.

Empire: A corporation of of involuntarily organized states and or nation-states and or countries and or peoples lacking right of exit.

Rule: Means of deciding matters of conflict, wither external-military, or internal-political, or internal-juridical.

Government: Means of administering the production and maintenance of commons.
