IMO we have synthesized the germanic (wotan, thor) of tribe, and the ancient god (Jupiter, Zeus, Dayus Pitar) of the conquering aristocracy, and the despotic god of christianity of resistance by the peasantry. I can envison each of these gods. The one I personally envision is a conflation of the aryan, and has nothing to do with the semitic. In other words AFAIK we are still polytheists, just as we are trifunctionalists. And some of us seek a god of politics (zeus), some of us one of our people (odin) and some of us one of the poor (semitic).
